Greg and I share a lifelong love of both narrative art as well as anything related to the extraordinary story that is American history. While Greg pursued art at the highest educational and technical levels, I immersed myself in American history and now make my living as a writer and historian. As we both share a deep interest in each other's chosen field of expertise, it is our friendship and partnership which allow us to pursue a shared dream of combining fine art with historical narrative storytelling. Historic American Prints is the logical expression of that love and interest, allowing us to paint those historic American actors who best personify the story of America. Both native Pennsylvanians, we live, work, and paint in the rolling hills west of Philadelphia, near a place called Valley Forge. |
